Custom Websites Built for Real-World Use
Purpose-built websites for businesses, creatives, organizations, and personal projects that don't fit into templates.
I design and build fully custom websites from scratch. No page builders. No themes. No shortcuts. Each site is structured around what it needs to do — load fast, scale cleanly, and stay understandable long after launch. Whether the goal is to promote a business, support an event, showcase creative work, or communicate something clearly, the approach stays the same: intentional design, clean code and decisions made for longevity instead of trends.

What I Build
I work on a wide range of projects, including:
- Small businesses and local service providers
- Musicians, bands, and other creative professionals
- Wedding and event websites
- Nonprofits and community organizations
- Personal portfolios and passion projects
- Custom sites that outgrow or don't belong on platforms like Squarespace or Wix
If your project has specific requirements, a clear vision, or constraints that don't play well with templates, it's probably a good fit.
How I Work
Every site I build is custom, not just visually, but structurally. That means the design, layout and code are all shaped around the purpose of the project instead of being forced into a prebuilt system.
I focus on:
- Semantic, accessible HTML
- Responsive layouts that actually adapt, not just shrink
- Performance and load speed
- Clean, maintainable code
- Designs that prioritize clarity over gimmicks
The result is a site that's easier to update, easier to reason about, and less likely to need a full rebuild a year down the line. I offer guidance when it's useful, especially when something can be simplified or made more durable, but the direction of the project always comes from your goals and not a formula.
My Process
Every project starts with a conversation about your goals, needs, and vision. From there, I design and build the site, keeping you informed throughout. Once complete, we review together and make any final adjustments. The site launches when you're satisfied with the result.
Why Custom Matters
Most website builders optimize for speed of setup, not long-term use. They work well until they don't — when content grows, needs change or the structure starts fighting you. Building from scratch avoids those compromises. You're not locked into a platform, paying for features you don't use or inheriting decisions you didn't make. The site exists to serve the project, not the other way around.
If you want something quick and disposable, there are plenty of tools that do that well. Website builders bundle convenience into a recurring subscription, while a custom site separates costs — standard hosting plus changes only when they're actually needed. If you want a site that's considered, flexible and built to hold up, custom is the right approach.
About Me
I live in the Atlanta, GA area, but am happy to work with clients worldwide. I graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Information Technology, with a focus on front-end web development. Outside of development, I have experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro, which allows me to support branding, graphics and multimedia when projects call for it. That overlap keeps projects cohesive and avoids unnecessary handoffs.
When I'm not working, I enjoy playing music, spending time outdoors, listening to audiobooks, taking photos, and unwinding with video games. I also share my workspace with my cat, Milton, who occasionally supervises.
Does your existing website fall apart on mobile?
Many sites weren't built with phones in mind. I can refactor and modernize existing sites so they work cleanly across screen sizes — without starting over.
